The state will provide a one-time cash payment to war veterans, victims of Nazi persecution, and citizens who have special services to the Motherland and distinguished themselves while defending their country on Independence Day. On Independence Day, citizens will receive payments in the amount of UAH 450 to UAH 3,100, including as a thank-you for their contribution to the defense of the country.

In 2022, the overfulfillment of the plan and a significant increase in revenues compared to 2021 are due to a 7.3-fold increase in the tax deduction on cash benefits, cash payments to military personnel who defend the independence of our country in connection with the beginning of the armed invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of sovereign Ukraine and the introduction of martial law from 02/24/2022.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, our community has become a refuge for people seeking protection from the war. As of August 1, 2023, the number of IDPs in the Kamianets-Podilskyi urban territorial community amounted to 22,279 people.
